The battery holder case puts the batteries in series so that you have 4x the voltage of a 18650 battery. (About 15V at a cell voltage of 3.7V). This 4x cells plastic storage holder is suitable for standard 18650 cells, as well as 18650 cells with a protection circuit. This is a great option for when you want to take the cells out of your device and recharge them separately.
